Your right to delete data

You can request deletion of your account and related data at any time. The system currently supports this action directly from your account profile page.

Data that will be deleted: When you confirm account deletion, your account data, wedding invitations, guest lists, guestbook, and other related data tied to that account will be removed from the system.

Important: This action cannot be undone. Please back up any important information before you continue.

The following data may be deleted:

  • Account information: display name, sign-in email address, email verification status, and linked sign-in data.
  • Social sign-in information: Google or Facebook sign-in information if your account is linked.
  • Wedding invitation data: wedding invitations, invitation content, images, and the sections you created.
  • Guest list data: guest names, emails, phone numbers, groups, RSVP, and related guest data.
  • Guestbook data: wishes, sender names, and approval status in guestbook entries associated with your account.
  • Basic activity data: view statistics and temporary records related to your invitations.
  • Website creation and manual payment data: wedding website creation logs and manual payment status related to your account when applicable.

How to delete your account data

Step 1: Sign in to your account
Go to Vowry.me and sign in using email OTP, Google, or Facebook.
Step 2: Open the Profile page
Click the account icon in the top-right corner and choose Profile.
Step 3: Review your account information
On the Profile page, you can review the basic account information and sign-in data currently stored for your account.
Step 4: Choose Delete account
Scroll to the bottom of the Profile page and click the Delete account button.
Step 5: Confirm the action
The system will show a confirmation dialog. Confirm to complete the request to delete your account and related data.

Direct data deletion request

If you cannot access your account or want to send a direct data deletion request, please contact us:

Please include the following information in your request:

  • your full name.
  • the email address you use to sign in.
  • your Facebook email or Facebook ID if you use Facebook Login.
  • a short note describing your data deletion request.

We will verify the information and reply within a reasonable processing time.

How long can it take?

Data deletion requests are handled after the information is verified. If you delete your account yourself from the Profile page, the deletion action is carried out immediately according to the current system flow.

Exceptions

Some technical records or backups may be kept temporarily if needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change my mind after confirming deletion?

No. Once the account deletion action has been confirmed and processed, the related data cannot be restored.

Will my wedding invitation links be deleted too?

Yes. Invitations, links, and related data belonging to the account are deleted together with the account.

What happens to guest data?

Guest lists and RSVP data belonging to your account are removed from the system together with the invitation data.

Can I create a new account after deletion?

Yes. You can still register or sign in again with a new account after the old data has been deleted.
